Touring the UGA Bioconversion, Research, and Education Center (BREC) introduced to me the idea that composting can be done on a large scale. Too bad I don’t have a pic of their operation. For now, an old picture of ours will suffice. Since then, us determined little gardeners have moved that unsightly pile of brush in the back and made space for yet another compost heap. We should really make a receptacle to take the neighbors’ food scraps…hmmm, I’ll look into that…
